SHADOW
Shadow Electronics a été fondée en 1971 à Erlangen, en Allemagne, par Joe Marinic qui continue de posséder et d'exploiter la société aujourd'hui. Le concept original était de fabriquer des guitares et des micros solid body, mais Joe a finalement décidé de se concentrer uniquement sur les micros.
Peu de temps après la création de l'entreprise, Shadow a inventé le premier micro au monde ("Shadow 1") pour guitares acoustiques et classiques. Le premier micro de violon au monde n'était pas loin derrière.
