The Mapex MBL909 bass drum riser is specially designed to improve the performance of small bass drums, particularly 16- or 18-inch models. By raising the drum, it ensures precise beater contact at the center of the drumhead, optimizing sound quality. This accessory also reduces the absorption of low frequencies by the floor, delivering a richer, deeper sound—ideal for drummers rehearsing, recording in the studio, or performing on stage. Its adjustable mounting system fits standard hoops perfectly, making it easy to install and transport.
